What are you doing for spring break?

Hooray! Spring break is here! I know I am going to use the time to catch up on some reading. I have downloaded several books on my Kindle – Fablehaven, Fablehaven 2 Rise of the Evening Star, and Candy Shop Wars, all by Brandon Mull. Can you tell I’m getting ready for his author visit to the 4th and 5th grades on April 9th?

Spring break is also a good time to be reading Dr. Seuss. We had a great turnout at our SEUSS-a-bration before school yesterday. 75 students had fun listening to Oh the Thinks You Can Think, making fortune tellers, and creating Lorax mustaches! Start thinking about what crazy hat or socks you want to wear to school on March 21st, as well as what outrageous “Dr. Seuss-ish” character you can create! Look for more details in your Monday folder after break.

We’re ObSEUSSed!
